Local Business Project

During my senior year at Liberty University, I spent a semester creating a project that showcased all of my skills. This project combines my passions for photography, storytelling and graphic design.

 

I interviewed five different small business owners in Lynchburg, Va. I wrote a 500-word article on each business. In these articles, I shared the story of how they were founded and what they stand for as a business. At the interview, I photographed the owner and their business. 

 

I also collected a few short videos at each place and created a readable video to introduce my project. 

 

I created and designed my own website for this project. I also designed printed pages for each story. Each article includes a Twitter and Instagram post promoting the story.
