Suicidal Hospitalization Investigation

I investigated and researched the effectiveness of hospitalization for suicidal patients. I wanted to understand why most suicidal patients leave the hospital with more trauma.

 

I interviewed Kathleen Johnson, who was admitted to two mental hospitals for suicidal ideation. I read over 10 articles and research studies on hospitalization for suicidal patients. I also interviewed a psychiatric nurse practitioner who has worked at mental hospitals in the past and who currently works at an outpatient mental health clinic.
