Seven Brew Coffee, a drive-thru coffee shop located at 1780 N U.S. Highway 77, held a grand opening May 23 with a special performance by members from the Spirit of Waxahachie Indian Marching Band and a ribbon cutting with the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce.
Seven Brew offers specialty coffees, teas, craft sodas, energy drinks, smoothies and shakes. Customers can customize their drink with a variety of flavors. It has locations in Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and South Carolina.
“Our mission is to cultivate kindness through coffee,” Scott Wilson, CEO of Seven Brew DFW, said. “(We want) our team and our company to really represent kindness, compassion and involvement in the community and to sell great coffee. We’re about speed, high quality and a fun experience.”
Seven Brew wants to be a part of the community, and Wilson said they find organizations to support everywhere they go. At the grand opening, Seven Brew presented a $2,000 check to the Spirit of Waxahachie band following its performance.
Wilson is the franchisee for North Texas and said the first place he wanted to put a Seven Brew Coffee shop was in Waxahachie.
“I’ve spent a little time in Waxahachie and just love the community,” Wilson said. “We thought it would be a great place for Seven Brew. It was our No. 1 choice.”
On June 3, Seven Brew will host a “Swag Day.” The first customer in each drive-thru lines will receive free coffee for a year, and each customer who purchases a large drink will receive a free Seven Brew T-shirt.
According to a media release, Seven Brew added 50 employees with its opening in Waxahachie. Those interested in joining the “Brew Crew” should apply at www.7brewdfw.com.
Hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and from 5:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays. For more information, visit https://7brew.com/.
