Plat approved by P&Z for 143 townhomes in Victron Park

With a unanimous vote, the Waxahachie Planning and Zoning Commission approved a plat for Villaggio at Victron Park, a townhome development, during its meeting Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Located southwest of the Butcher Road and U.S. Highway 77 intersection, the plat would split 16.975 acres into 143 residential lots and 19 open space lots. Senior director of planning Jennifer Pruitt said the plat is part of the Victron Park Planned Development that was approved in 2020, which included multiple uses like retail, commercial and townhome. The proposed plat is in accordance with the requirements of the PD, she said.
